Hey, Im a customer, but I need a refund on an old store. I was just messing around with Shopify, and ‘today’ i got billed. I completely forgot to cancel one of my very first stores but it was too late. At the moment im having trouble deactivating the store. It’s called “Marisols”
Hi, @Braxchat . I’m happy to help! I just have a few questions to make sure I’m giving you the best advice for your situation.
Can you tell me more about what’s happening when you try to deactivate your store? Are you seeing any error messages preventing you from continuing?
Are you still testing out Shopify using another shop you created?
In order for us to look into a refund the store typically needs to be closed first. If you can still log into your account, you can follow these steps to close it. Once that’s done you’ll want to reach out to our live support team here to review this further. I can’t see your account or billing information over the Shopify Community, but if you request support using that link we can help more. You can follow these steps to request support:
Hello Erin, I was able to deactivate the store “Marisols” yesterday. I tried deactivating it the day after the billing but I forgot the password and could no longer attempt to do until later.
I am still using Shopify with my other store, which I opened recently to get back into it. But The marisol store was for my girlfriend, who is no longer using it, and i missed the chance to deactivate it before the next billing cycle.
