How can I get a refund for an overcharged subscription plan?

We used Shopify subscription level Shopify
three months paying 1 dollar per month, at the end of the third month we had plans to change the subscription
to the basic one, since this was not included in our budget, today, that is, November 8, we received a notification from the bank that a subscription of $ 105 was paid, which worsened our situation for the development of the store, we will provide you with a receipt and details of our store, and we would like to request a refund for your shopify subscription

Hi @essentialandsaf

Welcome to the Shopify Community! Thanks for reaching out here for assistance.

I understand that you have recently been billed for your Shopify subscription, but the charge was unexpected as you had intended to drop down to a lower priced plan.

Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like you signed up to the promotional pricing at $1 per month for your first 3 months. After these 3 months, you would be charged the full normal price of the plan for your 4th and subsequent months, as part of the automatic monthly billing cycle.

If you intended to drop from a higher priced plan to a lower price one before being charged the full amount, you would need to do this before the end of the promotional pricing period and before the 4th month billing cycle started. As per our terms of service that you can check out here, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we understand that mistakes can happen, and so we will always do our best to accommodate all requests - however we cannot make any guarantees of refunds.

You will need to contact our support team directly via our help center here, so that our team can authenticate you as the account owner and take a closer look. We cannot provide any account-specific support here in the Community, as we cannot access accounts here.
