I’ve tried to go to Shopify support and they will not answer this question. My issue is is that everytime I pay for a full year Shopify puts me through hell pausing my account for reasons that were already taken care of the year previous. I find this very convenient that I always have issues after 1year renewal plan. Take my advice don’t prepay with them. They will take your money and try to withhold payments. Go month to month.
