How can I get a refund for an unwanted monthly subscription?

Hello,

I opened up my bank account only to be shocked by a payment from Shopify for the monthly subscription. I completely forgot that i had a trial store with a selected plan that i did not close. I did not want to continue with the store i forgot to close it. How do i get a refund as i want to close the store and did not have the money to pay for this.

It’s important to completely deactivate your store if you no longer wish to be billed. You can learn how to deactivate your store via this link here.

To request a refund, you can contact our support team directly and explain your situation by clicking on this link. They may be able to assist you with a refund and provide any additional information you may need, however please note as per our Terms of Service, section 5, point 10. Shopify does not offer refunds, so this is not guaranteed.

Is there any particular reason as to why you wish to no longer continue with your store?
