I need help with this please. We have different variables (color, size, width) the color and the width are shown as swatches but the size variable is a drop-down. I want to grey out the variables in the drop-down that are out of stock. I see that the width swatches get greyed out and the color variable has a line through it but the drop-down doesn’t change and so it does not show customers when a certain size is available or not. Please help with this. Thanks in advance!
Hello @SoDancaUSA ,
Follow the code of color and size and take the logic which makes the options gray out.
Actually you will find loop code is same in all the 3 options just there is change in html part. So as I suggest take the logic from working loop and implement in dropdown select box.
Thanks
I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this, too. Looks like tons of other users have, too, as I’ve found threads as far back as 2017, including a Shopify tutorial that does not work. But I have yet to uncover anyone having figured it out. ![]()
