I got 3 fake DMCA takedown notices within two weeks from my competitors. Now Shopify terminated my store. Shopify never verified the takedown notice and the one who is doing that. It is frustrating. They did not even have a proper website and they are fraudsters. How Shopify is favoring the fraudsters over the genuine business owner. I have been using Shopify for 3 years and I never violated any policy or copyright. Now what to do?
Hi Sujan, I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I’m currently going through the exact same thing. I made a thread on X (aka Twitter) sharing my story with these fake DMCAs. Tobi has responded but we need more people to share their stories. This urgently needs to be fixed.
