How can I handle refunds causing negative sales on my new site?

I recently launched my site I received my first few orders. My customer requested a refund because her product wouldn’t arrive on time. So I kindly issued her a refund now my sales dollar amount is negative. How do I fix this??? FYI I haven’t received any payouts for the refunded order & the orders to be fulfilled.

You don’t need to fix it.

The negative amount will be charged by Shopify to your credit card on file.

If you sell more before the payout date, it will be deducted from the sales amount automatically.

The problem is I haven’t received a payout for the order before the refund
was requested. The funds were still available in my pending payout balance
so I shouldn’t owe any moves or be charged because a refund was issued and
no product was sent.
