Hi very new to Shopify been using Magento for the past few years.
still constructing the Shopify site but have a few issue I can’t seam to resolve.
we have imported some products using a trial of LitExtension Magento Import. Products have imported and collections (categories) but how do I stop out of stock products showing in a collection.
I have used this https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/collections/automated-collections/auto-select which works when I manually add a collection which allows me to add conditions but the imported collection will now allow me to add conditions.
With Magento hiding out of stock in the store is just a simple tick box is there the same thing I’m Magento

With the collection “Automated” it will help you to add the condition and everything works fine. Refer https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/collections/automated-collections/auto-select#set-conditions-based-on-price-weight-or-inventory-stock

The collections your app imported will not allow me to change to automated. Shopify support tell me it’s imported as manual and can’t be changed
new collections I make does allow me to make it automated and I can add the conditions.

Yes, with the collection manuals, it won’t be possible to add display conditions.
You can only set the display condition in the frontend interface, are you using OS2.0 theme?
The current theme is Dawn
How can the collection be changed from MANUAL
These collection are what your app imported for me so I want to be sure this can be changed before I pay you to import when whole store from magento
