I am looking for a way to hide a product/collection from the search and navigation.
I make T-Shirts and we run Tee Parties. These parties are invite-only, kind of like an online pampered chef, but for t-shirts. We currently just post the design and have customers comment to purchase. When the party is done we go through all the comments manually and then manually invoice. This takes a ton of time.
What I would like to accomplish is posting the products with links that are only given to those invited, and having them directed to the shop to purchase. I think I have figured out how to hide the product from any navigation but they are still searchable. With these parties, there is a Buy x Get Y discount that would also need to be applied.
I have tried setting a metadata field to hide the products but when I use seo.hidden it says the namespace and key is already taken. I cannot find this metadata field to use it. I have tried using the bulk editor and keep getting “invalid field” errors for the hidden column if I enter anything.
I’ve seen locksmith suggested on other discussions but from what I gather it’s for password protecting and I don’t need that.
I’m not great at coding but can follow walkthroughs.
