I would like to hide the top banner from mobile, but still seen on desktop

Follow these Steps to hide top banner on mobile only:

  1. Go to Online Store

  2. Edit Code

  3. Find theme.liquid file

  4. Add the following code just above tag

you can try this code it might be helpful to you:-

Go to the seeting> edit code> base.css> paste the the code bottom.
