How can I implement multiple designs on a single Shopify store without flickering?

Hi!

We would like to have two designs on a Shopify store where a specific collection would be having a different design from the website

(similar to https://www.victoriassecret.com/ where on the top if you’d be switching between “Pink”, “Beauty” links - the design of the website would be changing, but the cart page and the checkout page would be the same for all designs).

Currently we are plain to use Javascript to “save” needed design in as a Cookie value (ie. “website_design”=“red”).

And after with Javascript change a design on other pages based on a Cookie value, but it’s could be creating a flickering effect.

Can you please tell me if maybe there is an alternative option which would allow to don’t have a flickering effect?

Hi! You can create a couple of collection templates and assign them to the collections which you want.
With this solution, your collection layout will be changed automatically without any query parameters and js

yes its possibel but current store is not shopify site
