How can I implement volume discount pricing for different variants?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some help regarding volume discount pricing.

We currently sell acrylic boxes (in 3 different variants) using the following automatic discount:

Buy 5, save $500.00AUD

However, we want to have an automatic discount which covers the following:

V1 discounts to $80.00AUD

V2&V3 discounts to $100.00AUD

Minimum order quantity of any 5 variants selected.

Would there be an app or a workout around that will be able to achieve the above?

Hi @erikag_clearcut

You can create a discount code for specific variants. When you create a new discount, you’ll want to select ‘Applies To > Specific Product’ and select the variants you’d like to apply the discount to.
Then you can use this app Stackable Discounts to allow multiple discounts at the checkout.

Or you can have a look at this app Automatic Discounts & Gifts. The app supports both automatic discounts based on product variants and stacked discounts.

There are various apps available that can assist with generating volume pricing (similar to the example above) that can be used and/or offered as a discount. I just noticed that you didn’t accept the solution yet. So I wonder if you are still looking for the app or work around this? Here is the app that has the exact functionality that you are looking for.

iCart Cart Drawer Cart Upsell app has a volume discount option to show it for each variant and for a fixed amount discount and percentage discounts.

Hi, I’d also like to pitch a newer app, Volume Discount Mojo, which handles quantity breaks extremely well. It integrates with Shopify newest discounts, so that it shows properly in Cart and Checkout:

Hi,

You can make it with the Quantity X app. It allows to set up a discount offer separately for each product variant:
