How can I import additional customer data to existing Shopify records?

HI,

We have been using Shopify online for a couple years and are migrating to Shopify POS. We have a lot of customers in QB POS who are already in Shopify.

I want to add data from POS that is not already in Shopify to the record in Shopify already rather than overwriting all the data. Is that possible?

Also I saw somewhere that I can only import customers who have an email address. Is that true? We have many customers who don’t have an email for.

I would like to advise that you can migrate your data from Quickbooks Desktop POS to Shopify. You can migrate data such as customers, vendors, inventory items, and locations. Prior to migrating your data, you’ll want to use the QuickBooks Desktop Connector app to review which data can be migrated. When the data is migrated, it does not affect existing Shopify data at all - meaning it will not overwrite the data. It will create a duplicate.
