I imported my customer list from the old ecommerce platform to shopify. This imported names, email, addresses…but not account information. When I go into the customer, it says “No account”. Is there a way to import username and password? Or is there another way to handle switching customers to a new system?
Hi @skuntz24 unfortunately this can’t be done.
Customers will need to create a new account on the new shopify store with a new password.
This is correct. Something you can consider doing is sending out an email inviting people to visit and create their new account, and give them a small discount for doing it 
Turn it into a marketing opportunity.
