I need to consult and hire someone who is a domain/website authority back link expert. I need to understand why my score is so low and what I can do to improve it ASAP.

thanks for support and best of luck
Unfortunately there is no quick fix, if there was we would all do it.
You have to build backlinks yourself, visit blogs etc, Facebook, Instagram etc.
You also need to submit a sitemap, and open a Google merchant account, the diagnostics in that will tell you if there are any issues with your products on Google.
Furthermore, you will need to fix these to get them indexed.
It is s long process, what is important in the first place is driving traffic to your site, Facebook and other social media is your friend in this case.
Spend a few £’s / $'s n Facebook adverts to drive traffic.
If you want any more help let me know.
What do you mean by “visit blogs, facebook, instagram”?
Open Facebook and Instagram accounts if you haven’t already done so.
Ask customers to leave reviews on Google.
Ask customers to review your products on relevant blogs, or family members, leaving links to products.
You can also review your products on your own blog, post the link to your Facebook page, and other relevant pages.
All this drives traffic to your site
It is completely understandable to feel concerned when you see a low domain authority score. It can feel like your store is invisible to search engines, but it is a challenge every new domain faces. The first thing to keep in mind is that scores like Domain Authority (DA) or Domain Rating (DR) are not official Google metrics. They are third-party predictions created by SEO tools to estimate how well a site might rank based on its backlink profile.
If your store is relatively new, a low score is the standard starting point. This is often due to domain age, a lack of unique content beyond basic product descriptions, or a very small profile of high-quality sites pointing to yours. Building authority is a long-term process, but you can see faster results by creating linkable assets like “how-to” guides, engaging in natural backlink exchanges with non-competing businesses, and optimizing for AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
Before you spend heavily on a backlink expert, ensure your technical foundation is perfect. High-quality backlinks won’t help as much if search engines struggle to crawl your site. Using our app SearchPie, you can focus on site speed and correct Schema markup so search engines can better understand and cite your content.
Hope this helps!
