How can I improve my new online store ? :)

Hello everyone!

I’ve just soft launched the Jadeo online store and would truly love to hear your thoughts. If you have a moment, feel free to take a look and share your feedback on things like the branding, UI/UX, product pages, overall look & feel, navigation, and the checkout experience.

If you notice any issues, glitches, or areas that could be improved, I’d really appreciate you pointing them out. Your feedback will help me refine the store and make the experience even better.

Thank you so much for your time and support, it really means a lot! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

hi just took a quick tour around your site and I think there’re few problems you can take into consideration

the material swatch function doesn’t show images accordingly, you can assign photo for silver option so that customers have better visual aid when considering materials

Your logo seems to be static and it blocks content throughout your site. The product images are too large I think, the layout is not optimized so it creates unconvenient experience

Another point is that I don’t know if you’re selling only to Europe or target more markets but if it is the latter, you can consider using currency convert to better aim at different markets.

Hope this helps

Hi @Jade_de_wasseige,

I hope you are well.

This is Anne from Shopplaza. I’m happy to share a few quick comments after reviewing your store.

Overall, the store already has a good foundation and the main sections are set up quite well. From the perspective of a first-time visitor, I’d like to suggest a few ideas that may help improve engagement and brand perception:

1. Highlight key offers with a homepage banner
An idea would be to add a large promotional banner on the homepage to highlight important offers such as Free Shipping, Discounts, or Current Promotions .
This can help immediately capture visitors’ attention and communicate the store’s value proposition more clearly, such as:

2. Add clearer call-to-action buttons on the homepage
You might consider adding call-to-action buttons such as “Add to Cart” or “Add to Wishlist” directly within homepage product sections .
This encourages visitors to interact with the products more quickly and shortens the path to purchase.

3. Consistency in colors and typography
This is more of a personal observation from a visitor’s perspective, but it may help to keep the background colors and text styles more consistent across the website .

For example, using a consistent color combination (such as a deep cobalt blue background with white text) could create a more unified visual identity. At the moment, having many different colors across sections can make the page feel a bit less cohesive.

Since the store focuses on jewelry , a more clean, elegant, and consistent visual style can help strengthen the brand image and make the store feel more premium and memorable to visitors.

These suggestions are shared simply from the perspective of a first-time visitor and are intended to help enhance both the user experience and brand impression.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know if you have any question.

Best regards,
Anne

Hi @Jade_de_wasseige

Genuinely nice store for a soft launch, the branding is clean and the jewelry photography does a good job of making the pieces feel premium. You’ve clearly put thought into the aesthetics and it shows.

The slider cart is already there which puts you ahead of most stores at this stage, but you’re honestly barely scratching the surface of what it can do for you. Right now it’s just sitting there as a cart.

The first thing I’d add is a free shipping or discount progress bar inside it. Jewelry buyers are already emotionally invested when they add something, a small nudge like “you’re $12 away from free shipping” is often all it takes to get them to grab another piece.

The bigger opportunity though is cross-sells and upsells inside that cart. Someone adding a necklace should immediately see a pair of earrings that complement it right there in the cart. You have the product catalogue to make this work really well, earrings and necklaces naturally go together and people buy sets all the time. You’re just not surfacing that at the right moment.

Don’t install three different apps trying to piece the cart experience together though. It slows your store down and costs more than it should. Something like iCart handles the progress bar, cross-sells and upsells all in one place.

Hi @Jade_de_wasseige ,

Overall it feels very clean and thoughtfully designed.
The branding looks cohesive and the minimalist style works well for a studio-style brand. It gives a nice premium impression right from the homepage.

One thing I would recommend focusing on is conversion clarity. When a new visitor lands on the site, it would help to very quickly communicate what Jadeo specializes in and why someone should buy from you. A short value proposition or benefit focused line near the hero section can make a big difference.

Another small improvement could be adding more trust signals on product pages things like customer reviews, clear shipping/return information, or a short section highlighting product quality or materials. For a new store, these details help reduce hesitation before checkout.

Overall though, the store already has a strong foundation and looks very polished for a soft launch. With a bit more emphasis on trust and product storytelling, it should perform even better.

Wishing you lots of success with the launch!

Thank you so much very helpful !!

Thanks a lot this is so helpful, I’ll download it and play around !

Hello,

Thanks a lot ! very helpful. Regarding the materials swatch, do you know if have to code the changes of pictures or if I can easily do it in the theme configuration ? I’m using Dawn

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I’ll def add the value prop near the hero section. I haven’t thought about it but makes much sense ! Thanks! Regarding customer reviews, I don’t know how to do it but I’ll investigate !

Hey @Jade_de_wasseige,

This is honestly one of the coolest stores I’ve come across so far. I really love the theme and overall aesthetic. It’s clear you put a lot of thought and effort into the website.

The images, videos, and the jewelry itself all look gorgeous. Everything feels very well presented.

One idea for the future could be adding a 3D viewer to some of the product pages. It would let people rotate and explore the jewelry from different angles, which can create a more memorable and meaningful online shopping experience. Customers could also zoom in to see even the smallest details. Interactive features like that can help people feel more confident about what they’re buying.

More and more small businesses have been experimenting with this technology lately, especially as these tools have become more accessible and easier to set-up for websites.

Overall, really beautiful work.

Hi @Jade_de_wasseige

The store is clean, modern and eye catching which is a great first impression. Having more clarity on the product - lifestyle images and benefit focused copy. Feature trust signals: reviews, shipping information, and clear returns. Create prominent call-to-actions and streamline your navigation to direct visitors effortlessly to the checkout. Think about including an email capture or social proof to get more conversions.

Hello!

Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. This has been a lot of work so I’m very happy to positive feedback from expert. Do you know which kind of integration Shopify does for the 3D and if it’s free ? It’s a very good feedback I would love to add that.

How can I do the same inprove my store ? Help please https://9hd1ua-as.myshopify.com/

Dawn is a great theme to build on. The product photography on your store is lovely btw!

Good luck!

Hello Jade, sorry for getting back to you a little late!

I checked out your store again and the new pieces look really nice, you have been growing! On the 3D viewer front, it is actually pretty easy to set up. It is not free but it is a lot more affordable than most people expect, and for a jewelry store like yours it could be a great fit.

If you ever want to know more, I am happy to walk you through it!
