How can I improve my online store Gleam-Glam.com?

Hi, I’m the owner of Gleam-Glam.com it’s lovely knowing about this community and I was hoping that you guys could check out my store and possibly give me pros and cons about my store, please. If you can thank you so much

First, congrats on getting your website up and running! It’s so much work, and it feels great when you get it out the door.

A few quick suggestions-

  1. On mobile, at least, the logo on the header is coming in huge. May want to adjust your header settings in your theme to make sure it’s toning the size down on mobile. Also you don’t often see periods used in logos (unless it’s part of the brand name). Maybe consider a slightly updates logo without the period at the end.

  2. Consider pulling back on the color and gradient. Going with a clean, white background can help your store feel more professional to new visitors. It will keep more focus on your jewelry and makes them look higher end. And my personal opinion is that gradients should be used very sparingly, if at all. They distract from the products.

  3. I’d also recommend using closer shots of the jewelry, like you’ve done with the main product image of your ring. Though I think generally focusing entirely on the jewelery without the human in the photo gives you more of a chance to make the jewelry pop in your images!

  4. Finally, get all of your products on the homepage. You don’t have a ton of inventory, and the more you make people click around the less likely it is they do it… But I don’t know what the best practice is for this specific situation. Hopefully someone else with more expertise will weigh in!

Thank and I sure will be updating my store
