What do you think about including a discount code or free shipping offer in the announcement? This can create a buyer incentive for your visitors to begin browsing through the available collections.
You could potentially add a slideshow section to the homepage as the first section under the header navigation as this can allow your visitors to learn more about the business without having to scroll. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite product in the slides. This is a great way to showcase your products!
I did notice that you currently do not have a favicon on your online store. A favicon is a small image that displays on your browser tab and represents the company/business - if you take a look at your browser tabs, I am sure you will see favicons! You can add a favicon to your online store to add a polished look to your website. It can also provide your visitors with an extra sense of security about making a purchase.

That is a great question! When you navigate to the Theme Editor, you can select on the announcement bar to make changes to the link. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
