I’ve taken a look at your store (arcrossroads.com) and I think you’re off to a great start. I love the double announcement bar, as you’re effectively sharing two separate announcements with your customers. While your product images are very high-quality and they look very clear, I think there’s room to showcase more of your products using some of the other sections or blocks offered by your theme. For example, the Image with text overlay section is great for showcasing individual products or sharing your brand’s story. You can also use the Collection list section to display multiple collections on the homepage.
Speaking of the header menu, I can see that you’ve added some drop-down menus which is definitely recommended for stores with a larger catalog of collections. However, the menu does look a bit cluttered at the moment so I’d recommend taking a look at some of your favourite online stores and replicating some of the ways that collections are grouped. Based on your menu items, you may be able to simplify the menu by using broader terms on the top level of the drop-down menus, such as Women’s Clothing, Women’s Jewelry, and Women’s Accessories. You should also consider adding some customer resources, such as an About Us or Contact Us page, or some store policies to the header menu.
Since it looks like you’re almost ready to launch your store, then it may also be a good time to start planning for how you want to market your store. Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
