How can I improve my store design? Looking for feedback

Congratulations on the opening of your store! It’s truly impressive, and I can see the dedication you’ve poured into its creation. While it’s already great, I do have some suggestions to help make it even better. Here are a few of my recommendations for better customer experience, if you don’t mind taking a look at.

1. The navigation bar

I would advice to center the company logo and the navigation bar on your page. This would align with your title and the slogan right beneath. Besides, adding other options like “Blogs”, “Contact us”, “Promotions” would make your navigation bar richer with options for the visitors.

2. Featured products

For feature products, you can use slideshow (carousel) with manual controls or autorotation. This will allow you to present more options for the visitors while making your page become more dynamic. Just keep in mind with some important notes for slideshow:

  • Slides shouldn’t rotate too quickly
  • Autorotation should always pause when hovered,
  • Autorotation should permanently stop after any user interaction with the slideshow
  • Manual controls should be overly clear

3. More CTA buttons

This section already creates a sense of urgency to make the purchase the product. To boost your conversion rate, I recommend adding CTA buttons like “Add to cart” right beneath the prices.

4. Guarantees and social proof

You can also create additional sections at the end of your page to increase trust of your store. Here are some examples:

  • 30-day money back guarantee
  • 10-day delivery guarantee
  • Testimonials for real customers about your products

5. Checkout page

My only recommendation here is to have the “Place order” button above the fold on your Checkout page. Specifically, you can move it right beneath the order details. This would allow users to quickly place the order without the need to scroll all the way down. Again, increasing the conversion rate is the key.

6. Chat box

There are two recommendations here:

  • The option “Apply to collab” should be moved a bit the left to avoid being overlapped with the “Chat” button. Alternatively, you can also move that option to the left corner of your page.
  • Below the box to compose the message, you can also add some frequently asked questions and set up automatic pre-defined answers. This would help you fill the empty space as well as provide quick answers to your customers without the need of involving real customer support team.
