How can I improve my store's website experience?

Hello fellow forum members,

I hope this message finds you all in good spirits. I’m reaching out to this esteemed community to kindly request your assistance in reviewing my website www.firdosmarket.com

I’ve put effort into creating a user-friendly and engaging experience for our visitors, but I believe there’s always room for improvement and my sales have been low.

Your valuable insights and constructive feedback would greatly help us in identifying areas where I can enhance the website’s usability, design, content, or any other aspect you deem relevant.

I genuinely appreciate your time and input.

Thank you very much for considering my request.

Hi @Firdos1

First, a good job of setting the store up. You covered most of the steps to set a base foundation. You got products, prices, collection, shipping, and payment sorted so functional shop.

But a few things are missing for me. Contact information, you do have a contact form but besides the founder’s name, there is no company info, address, or phone. And think you should have shipping, return, and privacy policies as well as terms of service pages. Those are necessary. Also, do check product descriptions. Half of the products, like some nuts and potatoes, have very small font on that description.

About the theme, well, it is fine. Looks clean, but it is just fine. You probably saw dozens of stores that look similar. Some visitors may find it familiar but most will have a mild reaction and will not spend much time on the website. For example, check out this theme https://themes.shopify.com/themes/local/styles/light/preview?surface_inter_position=1&surface_intra_position=11&surface_type=all

it is a clearly better design, and fonts, and has a nice feature. You can try to mimic some with your theme, for example, Nutritional information. You can place that and “Goes well with” on the product page. Maybe also include a couple more sections for customer reassurance, or blog posts that have a connection to that product.

Hi @Firdos1 ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Drawing from my experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), I’d like to give some recommendations to enhance the conversion rate:

1. Add a hero banner for the homepage

When I went to your website, I saw the heading “Healthy, Nutritious and Delicious” at the top, but I couldn’t tell what you are selling. Maybe you could add a big picture and some photos of your products so it’s easier to understand what you offer.

You can check this sample design for the preference:

2. Add an information section

Since you’re selling food products, consider adding a section that displays the ingredients and nutritional information of your products. This is very important.

Providing nutritional information allows consumers to understand the health benefits or drawbacks of a product. This is crucial for those managing their intake of calories, fats, sugars, sodium, and other nutrients for personal health or medical reasons.

3. Avoid blank space on the page

Kindly review this area and consider adding more products to this section to enhance its professionalism.

4. About the review section

It’s impressive that your product has garnered over 400 reviews. However, the absence of product or customer images alongside these reviews is noticeable. People generally prefer to see real images with reviews, as it lends authenticity and credibility. You might want to think about incorporating this feature into your review section.

Like this:

5. “About us” section

This section would benefit from being more concise. Try summarizing the main points in bullet points and increasing the image size or adjusting its placement for better visibility.

Here is an example for you:

6. Blog post list section

The heading’s font size is excessively large, while the blog post content is too small. Adjusting the font sizes to be more proportional could improve readability and aesthetics.

That’s all my suggestions to improve the conversion rate, hope that they are helpful for you.

Wishing you all the best,

Kate - PageFly Team

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Shopify Ticketing System App

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. Value propositions

Once you can convince your visitors why your products are more beneficial and superior comparing to other competitors, you might have a great chance to convert them to potential buyers. You can achieve this by highlighting the most notable features of your products. Here is an example how you can do it:

2. Guarantees

People tend to trust businesses that are transparent and willing to share their brand policies. Here are some guarantees that you can show to the visitors (depending on how your business operates).

Example:

3. FAQ

Customers tend to have a lot of questions, most of them can be answered by a simple FAQ (frequently asked questions) section. A well-written set of FAQ can build trust, confidence and make your customers feel more secured to make the purchasing decision. For more tips to create FAQ sections, you can refer to this useful blog from Shopify.

Example:

4. Customer Support

Last but not least, when Customers are not able to find answers from the FAQ section. they will definitely look for a way to contact your support team. I can see that you have already set up a Contact Us/Support section so if you are looking for a ticket management system, you can give MooseDesk a try. MooseDesk is currently FREE for all early birds with 24/7 dedicated support, which would help you answers all the questions and explain why MooseDesk is suitable for your business.

So those are my recommendations for your store. Hope it brings you some new insights.
