I would really appreciate any feedback on my website design and products to help improve and take it to the next level. We have had a really steady stream of traffic although conversions seem to be tailing away over the last two or so weeks. Thank you for any feedback in advance.

Hi @TheLazyHippo ,

To improve conversion you need to keep experimenting but,

Here are some necessary changes that will help you improve your sales.

Your homepage does not immediately talk about your product. Your heading and subheading should talk about your product.

The hero section should have images of your product.

Your brand name need not be in the heading put it on the left corner and the affiliate message at the bottom.

Your discounts message should be above the fold.

Use retargeting ads.

Hello @TheLazyHippo ,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.

After examining your store, I found some improvements you can make that could increase your sales.

  1. Enhance your product pages by including a comprehensive and informative product description that highlights the key features and benefits of your product. This will entice potential buyers to make a purchase.

  1. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
  2. Add more payment options other than PayPal which will be convenient for the customer to purchase products.

  1. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they’re looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
  2. Add sorting feature in collection pages for changing the order of any product listing whereby users can choose which criteria they want the products to be listed by.
  3. Showing your average rating gives your shoppers quick information to make purchase decisions. Average ratings provide you with feedback on popular and unpopular products that you can use to make changes.
  4. Use blogging
Blogging is a great technique to increase the traffic and ranking of your website. If you blog consistently with high-quality content over a long period, your site will rank higher for specific keywords or topics.
  5. I ran a speed test for your store and the score is only 28. You have to improve the store speed.

Hope this helps

Gina

Hello @TheLazyHippo ,

This is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

When I first entered your website, I was really impressed by all of the decent and amazing product images on the homepage. In addition, the overall color contrast you are using for your pages is admirably effective and cool.

Nevertheless, as a CRO Expert, I would like to suggest you some of the minimal factors on your homepage that you can improve to increase the conversion rates.

  • Website Menu

There are three things here I think you should improve:

1.1. Brand Name/Logo

You should add your Brand Name/Logo to the top left of the website menu instead of the payment method information. When entering a homepage, most visitors have a tendency to pay attention to the very first part of the website which is the name/logo of the website, so adding these will be the best way to make customers recognize your store instantly.

1.2. Font Weight and Size

You should adjust the font weight and size of every element like Home, About, Shop Range, etc. In my opinion, making these elements a little bigger and bolder will surely enhance the customer experience for your page.

1.3. Search Bar

You can also make a search bar visible on/under the menu in order for customers to easily search for products on your website.

  • Hero Banner

As we all know a hero banner is the key part of any website. For this part, you can make the hero image a bit transparent to address the brand message as well as the CTA button inside the hero banner.

Plus, you can also shorten the brand message inside the white box to make it a more concise and concrete message that your visitors want to take away.

Moreover, making the CTA button “Shop Now” bolder and more attractive because this button could be a strong initial weapon for your website that makes visitors click on it and then become your customers.

  • Featured Products

Featured products can help to increase sales on your website by highlighting popular or top-selling items, drawing attention to specific products you want to promote, and increasing visibility and engagement. I will take PageFly template as an example:

By featuring certain products on your homepage or other key areas of your website, you can encourage customers to explore your offerings and potentially make a purchase. This can be a useful strategy for improving conversion rates and driving revenue growth for your business.

Moreover, you may want to consider adding a Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Testimonials to your website to enhance trust with customers and boost conversion rates. For most online stores, the testimonial part always plays an essential role in showing the credibility of the brand to customers.

Additionally, with Mother’s Day 2023 fast approaching, and also ranked as the third most significant holiday following Black Friday and Christmas, it is an opportune time to consider some compelling concepts for your business to take full advantage of this occasion.

  1. Use a colors palette associated with Mother’s Day

This kind of change makes your store more welcoming. You can refer to these pairs of colors:

  • Pastel Pink and Green: This color palette is soft, delicate, and feminine, making it a popular choice for Mother’s Day. It includes shades of light pink, blush, and pale green, which evoke feelings of tenderness, love, and springtime.
  • Red and White: This classic color combination is timeless and elegant, and it’s often used to symbolize the love and appreciation we have for our mothers. It’s a bold and impactful color palette that can be used to create a variety of different designs.
  • Lilac and Light Blue: This color palette is soft and soothing, with shades of pale purple and blue that are reminiscent of springtime flowers and clear skies. It’s a calming and peaceful color palette that’s perfect for creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere on Mother’s Day,

  1. Offer special discounts

Creating special deals during Mother’s Day event like bundles or 1+1 offer is one of the best ways to boost your sales. You can highlight them on your homepage to be visible as soon as visitors reach your page and make it easy to navigate through your product offerings.

  1. Create gift guides or a special section with product recommendations.

Creating gift guides or a product recommendation section can help increase engagement and sales on your Mother’s Day landing page. By organizing products by categories and themes, you can make it easier for shoppers to find the perfect gift for their mothers. Including product descriptions, images, and customer reviews can also help improve the shopping experience and boost conversion rates.

I hope that a few suggestions of mine will somehow be useful for you.

Wishing you all the best with your website and Good luck selling!

Best regards,

Richard | PageFly Team
