How can I improve sales on my camping supplies store?

I have a camping store launched in august…(walterscabin.com)

very little traffic, and no sales so far… please visit my site and let me know what it is I’m doing wrong!!!

and if I can get US vendors for my camping supplies I’m open to all suggestions!!!

Hey,

Not trying to be brutal but ill be honest.

I would check with GA what customer are doing on your site, and where they are dropping off. tbh it feels like you have grabbed a couple of things from aliexpress and put on a site… without designing and/or fitting to market. Images are from vendors and not taken inhouse, and not on theme (if there is one on the site).

I would (personally) rethink the logo, hard to place across assets. something simple and classy. people buy from brands because of experience. Not alot of a story on the brand as a whole, why it exists, etc.

Not running really any ads on facebook/IG, run some VC campaigns and see what people like.

No social proof/reviews etc.

Really on site:

  • No CTA on banners
  • No Social Proof
  • Live chat? Try talk.to if your looking for Free (Gorgias if not)
  • no consistency on product images/descriptions/collection pages - honestly looks like a dropship: (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002501817594.html https://walterscabin.com/en-au/products/mens-outdoor-multi-pocket-fishing-vest )
  • I dont know the category, but i’m assuming competition with Amazon is high.
  • no continuity on product/collection pages.
  • hide customer reviews if you dont have on products.
  • Add other assets on product pages (about brand/lifestyle etc)
  • No Email capture
  • any BNPL options in market?
  • the catalog is really all over the shop, no filter down to sections. (ie: make the drop down mega menu for categories).

Good luck.

Cheers

Chris

Poor page design, low amount of high-quality texts. Generally, there is no idea or plan for positioning.
