about a week ago shopify changed the product search layout so if you searched for items of a particular kind only 10 come up (not the whole lot) and every time you hit the back button you lose the search and have to start again. is there a way to revert back to orginal layout where you can edit all items of a certain kind for example a certain band or format ?

Apparently, Shopify couldn’t care less about solving customer problems because there’s no money in it for them, so they want people to use third-party apps instead. Because app developers who sell apps on the Shopify App Store pay 20% in app revenue to Shopify, so it’s another revenue stream for Shopify - at the expense of their customers, of course.
ah righto, i am still baffled though why they change things for the worse all the time. To use back button now you have to set up format on the lined logo to bring up that category and sometimes the white search box works instead of the grey one at top . Otherwise it knocks all your previous searches out - sometimes i need to check quantity/active or draft of records by the same band so you have to type the name into every search every time you click back otherwise and the quantity button is a nightmare as well as duplicate listings that all appear with COPY OF at the start so you can’t just change the record title if same band
