Hi, @trendzandmore !
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your store link, I would be happy to share some feedback on your shop!
I enjoyed looking through your store, it looks like you have a lot of great options for your customers. You have done an excellent job with organizing your wide range of products and allow customers to easily find what they are looking for. Although, I do have a few suggestions that you can do to improve your shopping experience:
Firstly, I would encourage you to reduce the amount of pop ups that appear on your store as they may be off-putting. For instance, if the customer may have already started viewing some content and a pop up is shown, it may distract them from the content that initially grabbed their attention. This will likely degrade the experience as they will have to complete another step just to view your website. Instead of this feature, being very selective of when and how pop ups show would be ideal.
Another suggestion would be to remove the ads on your store. This can be seen as very distracting and adds more unnecessary content to your store. Are you able to provide some more context as to why you have decided to include ads on your store? From there, we can look to implement them in another way.
You can also look to add Shopify Inbox to your shop. This app allows you to interact with potential customers and provide tailored recommendations, should they have any questions. This is done through a chat option that is located directly on your store and integrates with other messaging channels like Facebook Messenger and Apple Business Chat. Take a look at our Shopify Inbox Guide on how to set this up.
Feel free to reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further.
I’d also love to know more about your business and how you are using social media to promote your brand!
ads more revune than sales
Hi again, @trendzandmore !
Thank you for following up.
Based on your response, it seems as the cost of advertising is surpassing the revenue you are receiving from sales. If this was not what you meant from your question, feel free to clarify further and I’d be happy to assist you further.
In this case, you may want to scale back or re target your marketing efforts if they are not effective. Are you currently running paid ads through Facebook, Instagram, or Google? If so, I’d suggest updating your campaigns with specific demographics and geographic conditions to ensure that you are advertising to the correct customers. For more information on this, along with a variety of marketing campaign ideas, check out our Shopify Blog here.
Feel free to share more information about the paid ads you are running. How much traffic is coming in on average? Which platforms are you advertising on?
I was also wondering if you ended up applying some of the suggestions I shared earlier, like removing advertisements on your store and reducing the amount of pop ups. This may help with customer conversion and help you with sales.
I’m looking forward to your response!
