I am creating a F&B store page on shopify and need to add custom icons that better describe the products, such as “dairy free”, “gluten free”, “vegan”, etc. Preferably, the icons should also spell out what it means when hovered over. Are there ways to do these?

It should require custom coding in your theme. We can use tag for it. Their is not direct way to explain solution.

Yes, you can do that using the meta-field app. For that, you need to developed custom code too.
