Hi how can I integrate metafield to my store/Shopify them? I need to have the variants to be named as option 1, option 2, etc for at least 10 options with the freedom to name these options
Log in to the Shopify admin and go to Settings > Metafields. Select a resource to add a metafield, such as Products, and click Add definition. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for your metafield definition, Add values to the Metafield Now
Is that possible to add these variants, like choosing width, length, item ID, etc? what should i choose for product type?
type is for data type like what type of values you want to store number , character etc
Metafields cannot modify the purchase price of a product/variant.
So keep that in mind if any of these “options” your trying to put into metafields affect the actual price of the product then metafields are not the direct solution.
If you have products with multiple price affecting attributes beyond 3 options you need a different product structure such as a flat product model (research forums).

I have an alternative solution that I believe is more efficient than using metafields. You can utilize the Easify Product Options app, free plan available, to create a wide range of custom options for your store. This app provides 26 different option display types, including dropdowns, checkboxes, buttons, image/color swatches, product lists, switches, and many more, allowing you to showcase your product options.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up your product options using the app 
:

Begin by creating a new option set within the app.

Add an option for selecting the bed width, using the appropriate option type, such as Dropdown.

Add an option for choosing the bed length, using a suitable option type like Buttons.

Include an option for selecting the model ID, utilizing an option type such as Radio Buttons.

If you have additional options, like choosing massage, add them using an appropriate option type, such as Checkbox.

I regret to inform you that the options created within the Easify Product Options app won’t generate additional SKUs; there will only be one SKU for the main product without separate SKUs for the combinations.
It’s important to reconsider the solution you’re seeking, as Shopify imposes certain limitations. You can create a maximum of 3 options and 100 variants per product. If you choose to use a third-party product options app like Easify Product Options, it can allow you to create unlimited custom options, but it won’t generate different SKUs as you want. Using metafields may not be a suitable solution either.
Given that Shopify has constraints on code customization and flexibility, developing custom code and features to achieve your specific requirements may also be extremely challenging.
