Ok, so as the title says, plenty of visitors, and no sales. Absolutely 0. Spending money on Google Ads, which i know is needed. Posting in my social medias. Because Meta Ads and other apps i’m denied. Don’t know why. But what can I do to get more visitors AND sales?
Topic summary
Main issue: High traffic but zero sales. Google Ads are running; social media posts are ongoing. Meta Ads access is denied for unspecified reasons. Request is for ways to gain both visitors and conversions.
Site/UX feedback:
- Replace the homepage banner (currently a “fair price guarantee”) with a product-focused hero featuring a clear CTA and strong visuals. Improve categorization; the “best sellers” mix unrelated items (e.g., bottle holder, toilet light, dog seat cover).
- Add a favicon to strengthen brand trust. Introduce brand story, testimonials, and a live social feed to build credibility.
- Separate unique selling points from product listings for clearer hierarchy. Make product descriptions scannable with headings and supporting images.
Marketing/ads guidance:
- Clarify ad setup: share current Google ads, and confirm Search vs. Shopping usage. Explain past Meta Ads experience before the denial. Consider a product feed management tool.
- Leverage seasonal events (e.g., Mother’s Day) with an announcement bar, refreshed hero, targeted ads, and social engagement. Images/templates were shared to illustrate layout ideas.
Status: No resolution yet. Next steps depend on ad details and implementing UX improvements.
Hi @HomesteadBeard ,
I’ve checked your store and there are some problems on the page usage, banner is one of the most important parts but you use it for the “fair price guarantee” image where you can show off your best products instead of this.
And then you listed best sellers, but there are lots of products that are not related, such as bottle holder, toilet light and dog seat cover
I suggest you to work on categorization and use banner for the products that you trust most.
Have a great week ahead!
Hi ElementalNova,
So a couple of questions:
-
Can you perhaps show me how your Google ads look like? I think the community can better help you understand the problem with your ads if we can see them.
-
Are you using Google search ads or Google Shopping ads?
-
Can you briefly share your experience with meta ads before you were denied?
-
Are you using a product feed management software that can help you manage your feed for various marketing platforms?
I checked out your website and it looks pretty standard to me. Based on your answers, I will be better able to help you
Hi there @HomesteadBeard
I’m Garcia, an CRO expert at PageFly Page Builder!
I’ve reviewed your store and have some actionable recommendations to boost your sales. Here’s a breakdown:
1. Brand Recognition and Trust:
- Add a Favicon: A favicon (that small icon next to your URL in the browser tab) is like your brand’s signature. It strengthens brand recognition and builds trust with visitors. Adding one is simple – check out the Shopify Help Center for a quick guide.
2. Homepage Storytelling:
- Craft a Compelling Narrative: Your homepage is currently clean but lacks a compelling story. Showcase why people should shop with you! Consider adding sections that introduce:
- Your brand story (About Us)
- Testimonials from satisfied customers
Here is an example from PageFly premade template - Flora Mother’s Day:
- A live social media feed
3. Homepage Optimization:
-
Hero Banner Focus: The current hero banner emphasizes reliability, but its primary purpose is to capture visitor interest and encourage them to explore your products. Consider a hero banner featuring:
-
A human model showcasing your products
-
Engaging content and a clear call-to-action (CTA) button to drive product exploration- Collection List Enhancement: Currently, your collection list resembles a benefit bar highlighting unique selling points (USPs). For improved visual hierarchy, consider separating these USPs from the product listings.
Pro Tip: Explore PageFly’s pre-made template “Flora Mother’s Day” for design inspiration.
Product Page Optimization:
- Scannable Descriptions: Long product descriptions can overwhelm visitors and make it difficult to find key information. Break up lengthy descriptions into concise sections with clear headings and incorporate relevant images to enhance readability.
4. Leverage Seasonal Sales Events:
Plan for Peak Sales Periods: Prepare your store to capitalize on major sales events throughout the year. Consider running targeted ads to maximize impact.
Mother’s Day is Here! As businesses gear up for this occasion, let’s explore some expert insights to elevate your holiday preparations:
- Announcement Bar: Create a clear announcement bar showcasing Mother’s Day promotions or special offers.
