A Netherlands-based jewelry store on the Ella theme reports ~100 daily visitors but only 0–1 sales and asks for conversion tips.
Key product page recommendations:
Add value proposition and benefit-driven bullet points (with checkmarks).
Include trust seals and payment icons below the primary call-to-action (CTA).
Create a stronger CTA and disable the dynamic checkout button.
Add a three-step shopping journey, urgency/scarcity cues, and an FAQ section.
Set a max-width on content tabs to improve readability.
UGC suggestion:
Add user-generated content (UGC) widgets on product detail pages (PDPs) to boost trust and conversion; one no-code option suggested via a Shopify app.
Clarification provided:
“Max-width on tabs” = current text spans too wide with little horizontal spacing, harming UX (user experience). Screenshots were shared to illustrate ideal narrower text columns; these images are central to the point.
Outcomes and status:
Store owner plans to implement the suggestions and may seek further help.
No disagreements; discussion remains open with actionable next steps but no confirmed results yet.
As I am getting +/- 100 visitors a day (from The Netherlands, where we are based) now and very few sales (0-1 a day) I would like to ask if you guys have some tips for improving my website. I am using the Ella Theme.
The website is one of best ones ive seen so far! Congratulations on such a beautifully designed store.
I feel you could add more authenticity to your product pages by adding UGC content to them. UGC widgets on PDP’s are known to build more trust in your brand as well as exponentially improve Conversion rate on the website.
Idukki app on app store offers a free solution for this. You could add beautiful UGC widgets without writing a single line of code!
