How can I increase site visibility beyond social media and ads?

Although I have social networking sites up and running, as well as Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising, my store visits are low. Are there any other ways I can promote my site and make it more known.

Hi @Abdemiller ,

I’m Richard Nguyen - CRO Expert at PageFly.

I have just taken a quick look at your website and here are some plus points:

  • Have a favicon for your store: This makes your store look unique and professional.
  • Have an announcement bar to inform about discount and free shipping campaigns of your store.

That being said, here are some suggestions for your store to boost the conversion rate:

1. Redesign your announcement bar

Although the announcement bar is of great importance to get more sales, you should take advantage of it more reasonably.

As you can see, the announcement bar is divided into 3 parts and it contains some redundant spacing. From my point of view, it should be displayed in 1 row only.

2. Have a sticky header

This will help customers navigate themselves from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently.

3. Have a signup form on your homepage

Having a newsletter on your site, customers can subscribe to their emails to receive product information, any sales campaign, etc from your store.

Last but not least, here are some useful marketing tips for your reference:

  • Display the featured products/bestsellers as well because it makes more sense to your customers
  • Frequently update your Instagram channel by making use of posts, reels, stories, etc
  • Optimize SEO as it allows your website to rank higher in search results pages, which allows more potential customers to see and click on your website.
  • Create a landing page to drive more traffic to your website with the help of this guide

And that’s my feedback! Hope it’s helpful to you

Cheers!

Richard

SEO is the best thing to do. I am doing it for a site and conversion is much better than before.

Hello @Abdemiller ,

Gina here from flareAI - your Fully Automated Free Sales Machine. Promoting your Shopify store better is the key to driving traffic, boosting sales, and maximizing your return on investment. You have to convert the traffic to sales. You can do this through many strategies.

  1. Optimize your Shopify store for search engine traffic
One way to optimize your store is by adding Keywords which are the search terms that people use with the search engines and will be what guide you in your search engine optimization. Once you gather all relevant keywords that are relevant to your product and your niche market, begin using them all throughout your website like in Product Titles, Product Descriptions, Alt Tags on Images, and any other additional content.
  2. Posting on social media can be a good way to promote your online store and connect with customers. You can create social media accounts for your business to help build your brand, improve your SEO, and increase traffic to your store.
  3. Attract customers with content marketing
Just like your product descriptions will help attract visitors to your Shopify site, so will any other content on your website. A simple paragraph at the bottom of each category page with a lot of keywords that are likely used on search engines will do the trick.
  4. Write guest posts for sites within your niche
The websites on the top of the search engine results pages likely have a lot of other websites linking to them. The more links pointing to your website, the better. Rather than wait for other websites to direct traffic to you through a link, it is easiest to offer to write a guest post for other blogs within your niche.
  5. Write blog post features of influencers in your market
Another way to get more links and increase traffic to your online shop is by writing a blog post that features influencers in your niche market.
  6. Email campaigns
An email campaign is a sequence of marketing efforts that contacts multiple recipients at once. Email campaigns are designed to reach out to subscribers at the best time and provide valuable content and relevant offers. Using email campaigns allows you to build deep and trusting relationships with your customers. An effective email campaign will help in gather data about subscribers, provide valuable content to customers, encourage customer engagement, drive conversion and increase site traffic, get helpful feedback from customers and build a customer loyalty program. Email campaign includes welcome email, newsletters, transactional emails, etc.
  7. Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is a reward-based system that encourages partners to promote your products in exchange for a commission. Anyone can sign up to be an affiliate, though. An affiliate signs up for your affiliate program and sends visitors to your Shopify store through their special referral link, and any sales that you make as a result of their promotion earn the marketer a reward.

It’s wise to invest 10-30% of revenue back into ads. But up to 40% of paid ads are clicked by competitor bots, according to Adobe research. Every marketing channel demands more $$$, except one. Consumers trust organic sales channels like Google and rely on them even more and are using them at a rate that exceeds the growth of display and organic social. flareAI will help to scale your site sustainably at NO Agency fees, NO Pay-per-click, NO paid marketplaces. flareAI actively grows your store presence on Google Search. Once a product is found while customer search for it, it is a permanent win! Once your product is found on Google, you don’t need to do a thing. First of all, congrats on picking an evergreen niche and the right color scheme to connect with your audience!

As for how you can take things further, I have a few suggestions you can start implementing now:

Add a blog section - I see you’ve focused on visual marketing, but why not scale horizontally as well? I think a blog section where visitors can learn about new trends and discover some new and tasteful ways of combining activewear will fit nicely here. Plus, you can even leave room for comments and allow for image sharing, which might result in a stream of UGC. In my experience, spending time encouraging users to talk about your company or products on their socials is a sound strategy.

Envision a marketing campaign - If your target demographic is in LA, you can spread the word by handing out fancy flyers just before a sale. Attaching a QR code that leads to your website upon scanning (or gives them a timed discount) can net you a surge of traffic. Also, consider a newsletter campaign you’ll send during the usual afternoon timeouts.

Play the long game - Upping your on-page SEO skills is an evolving task, and if you opt to add more content, you’ll also have more optimization work. Yet, it can only advance your SERP rating.

Hope this helps, and best of luck going forward!

Certainly! Here are some additional ways you can promote your website and increase its visibility:

  1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Optimize your website for search engines to improve its ranking in search results. This involves using relevant keywords, creating quality content, improving website speed, and obtaining backlinks from reputable sources.

  2. Content Marketing: Produce valuable and engaging content related to your products or services. This can include blog posts, videos, infographics, or tutorials that provide helpful information to your target audience. Share this content on your website and across social media platforms to attract more visitors.

  3. Email Marketing: Build an email list of potential customers and send them regular updates, promotions, and personalized offers. Email marketing can help you nurture relationships with your audience and drive traffic back to your website.

  4. Influencer Marketing: Partner with influencers or bloggers in your niche who have a significant following. They can promote your products or services to their audience, helping you reach a broader customer base.

  5. Guest Blogging: Write guest posts for popular blogs or websites in your industry. This allows you to tap into their audience and drive traffic back to your site through backlinks included in the content.

  6. Online Communities and Forums: Participate in online forums, discussion groups, and community platforms relevant to your niche. Provide valuable insights, answer questions, and engage with other members while subtly promoting your website when appropriate.

  7. Networking and Partnerships: Collaborate with other businesses or websites that complement your offerings. This can involve cross-promotions, co-hosting events, or sharing each other’s content to expand your reach.

  8. Offline Marketing: Don’t overlook traditional marketing methods such as distributing flyers, attending industry events or trade shows, and networking with local businesses. These tactics can help raise awareness about your website among offline audiences.

  9. Referral Programs: Encourage your existing customers to refer their friends and family to your website by offering incentives such as discounts or rewards for successful referrals.

  10. Press Releases: Write and distribute press releases about significant events or updates related to your business. This can attract the attention of journalists and bloggers, leading to media coverage and increased visibility.

By implementing a combination of these strategies, you can effectively promote your website and attract more visitors, ultimately driving sales and growing your business. It’s essential to continuously monitor and adjust your marketing efforts based on their performance to achieve the best results.

Here are some additional strategies you can consider to promote your website and increase store visits:

  7. Local Marketing: If your store has a physical location, focus on local marketing efforts such as local SEO, listing your business on Google My Business, and participating in local events or community sponsorships. This can help drive foot traffic to your store from nearby customers.

  8. Online Communities and Forums: Participate in online forums, discussion groups, and community websites relevant to your industry or niche. Provide helpful advice, answer questions, and subtly promote your products when appropriate to generate interest and traffic to your website.

  9. Guest Blogging: Write guest posts for popular blogs or websites in your industry. This can help you reach a wider audience and establish credibility and authority in your niche, driving traffic back to your website through the author bio or links within the content.

  10. Customer Reviews and Testimonials: Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews and testimonials about their experience with your products or store.
