I think it would be really helpful if when creating a draft order on the site everything was the same except as you add products, you can immediately put the desired quantity of each item as you go. Not having this feature is really a nuissance when creating large quotes for clients and each time you edit the quantity the page has to refresh and can sometimes lead to the site crashing while editing too large of an order.

I understand this frustration, as I use draft order to create large quote for clients sometimes, changing quantity for each item will refresh the page and it usually ends up me spending 15 minutes or more on one draft!
I have recently added a feature to my app Draft Order Helper , which you can quickly edit quantity for each line items . After you have installed the app, you can go to your draft order, click “More actions” > “Fast Adjust Quantity”.
(originally I created this app for my own use, it have other useful function on dealing with draft orders too)
Then you can quickly adjust the quantity of each items without refreshing, and click “Apply” to save the quantities.
With this feature, you can save a lot of time when adjusting quantities for large quote!
