How can I limit collection descriptions to the first page only?

Hi,

I’m using a DAWN theme and have the collection description duplicated all over the pagination pages.

Please let me know how can I make description of the collection to appear ONLY on the first page of the collection? And disappear from the rest of the pages (page 2, page 3, etc)? Thank you.
