How can I limit tags in blog posts?

I want to limit the tags in blog posts while they’re been adding by the Content writer. So that he will not add more tags to blog posts. Also, can we restrict to Specify new tags and Choose from the list already build?

I’m not sure I completely understand what you mean exactly. Do you mean for your own store and when someone adds a blog post? I’m wondering if you mean about the SEO side of things in your admin when adding a blog?

If you’re the store owner, you could always edit and reduce some of the tags or simply not add as many when it’s being published. Because I’m not 100% sure where you mean yet, I’ll wait for you to confirm and we can take it from there.

Yes. need in admin side in my own store.

I want to warn the Content Writer that there is a limit to add maximum tags. Please See the Image for reference.

Are the content writers logging in as staff members to enter their own blog posts in this instance? A blog post can have up to 250 tags, but it’s not possible to restrict or lower that number:

Shopify has a help guide with more information about this here.

You could speak to the content writers and ask them to have only a certain number of tags and since you are the admin, you could remove some. Can I ask why you want to limit the tags also?
