How can I limit total shipping cost for mixed product types?

Hi all,

So I’ve currently got 2 different types of products on a site and I’ve set up the following shipping rules:

For product type 1 - £1.20 per product up to a maximum of £5

For product type 2 - £1.60 per product up to a maximum of £5

I’ve managed these using the Advanced Shipping Rules app by Bambri by setting up 2 groups, and that is working fine.

The problem comes when someone purchases a combination of the 2 product types- ideally I’d still like to limit the overall total to £5 maximum. But as it’s set up, it still works to a max of £5 per product group so the overall maximum comes to £10.

Is it possible to limit to £5 for a combination of product types?

Is there a better way to approach this?
