I created my policy pages (e.g. /pages/privacy-policy) using a custom .css
I copied the html code into the page /policies/privacy-policy but when the popup is opened during checkout my custom .css is not loaded.
Is there a solution?

I’m not sure if I understand correctly, but the checkout page does not accept any custom CSS nor Javascript, unless you’re under the Plus plan (the one that starts at $2000 USD/month), so the policy pages on your website that is customized with CSS will look different on the checkout.
In case you’re already on a Plus plan it’s important to have a developer to assist you with this, customizing the checkout without deep knowledge is not safe.
