Hello, I sell stickers and I have been over paying the shipping on a normal envelope and weight. The people at the post office said it should be the minimum rate of .58 but I cant get my label rate lowered the 1.16. is there a setting I am missing?
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
I understand that you’re trying to lower the cost of shipping labels to the minimum rate suggested by the post office. If there isn’t anything wrong with the shipping rates or you’re using calculated shipping rates, then it’s possible that you need to adjust the saved packages or add a package for your store.
That being said, it’s important to note that if you select a carrier-specific package, then your checkout will display rates only for that carrier and the applicable service types for that package type. However, if you’re using multiple carriers, then it’s recommended that you create a custom package.
If adjusting the default packages doesn’t help you resolve this issue, then it looks like we’ll need to access your account in order to resolve this issue. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
I’d love to know whether changing the default package for the Shopify shipping labels can help you resolve this issue or if you need to reach out to our Support team. Keep me posted!
