How can I make contact details clickable on my website's 'Contact us' page?

Hi there,

I’m looking at making our contact details clickable on the “Contact us” page on our website.

Does anyone know where I can find the page on the liquid theme?

Also, can you help me out with the code?

Hi @McGreals

we could follow these steps below and let us know how it goes:

  1. Go to Online Store on your Shopify Admin

  2. Click Action > Edit code on the current live theme

  1. enter ‘contact’ into search box

Thanks for that - My other issue is that I need the contact number on this page to be clickable. Will this code work if inserted on the contact page?

Also, can you help me where on the contact page the code needs to be inserted?

Thanks for that. I tried getting the code inserted to the back end on Shopify but I don’t think I’m on the right page as it keeps showing up as an error.

Hi @McGreals , we can’t put this code into the json file. We should edit content on Shopify Admin > Online Store > Pages > Contact Page.

In the case you can’t do it yourself, I’ve sent a collaborator request to assist you. Please check and approve my request, I will access your store to help.

Is there a way this can be redirected to open with the phone app on mobile devices?

At the moment it is redirecting to this error page.
