How can I make my custom content homepage image clickable?

I’ve made my homepage a single image using custom content on the theme editor. How can I make the image clickable to another page?

Hi @confidencelock ,

Hope you are doing well. You just need add “a” to wrap “img” tag then you can click image to redirect to your URL.
Please take a quick look at our screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/10p8kww

Thanks for the response. I’m not sure what or where to add to though. I’m not proficient with coding, I made the custom content homepage through the live theme editor.

Same problem. Please help!

I custom a field name: “Custom content link”. So you can add url to redirect other pages.

Hi @LitExtension ,

How would I go about adding this into the shopify code?

Cheers!

Hi @jservillon ,

You can add code to the schema of the file section, refer https://shopify.dev/docs/themes/settings#url
Hope it clear to you.

Hello,
I have seen that this entry is already older, but I am facing the same problem and unfortunately I have no idea how to program anything. Is there a step by step guide?
I have added photos as custom content with the theme editor and now I want to make them clickable.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas
