How can I make my shop more attractive to get more customers?

@JDivine - You have a clean website design, which is a plus. A few very simple things right off the bat:

  • It took me a few minutes to figure out who you are and what you are actually selling. I would suggest taking the “Why Choose Us” out of the footer and putting it under your hero image. That gives the user some immediate insight and introduces them to the store. I would also title it differently, perhaps something like “A word about JDevine” or Welcome to JDevine, etc

  • Sticking with the footer, I would remove the “print outsourcing and limitations” and just have a clear return/refund policy. It is admirable that you are being so transparent, however quoting another company’s refund policy and talking about your outsourcing process is off-putting to most people, I think it works against you. Some people will read that and discount your store as a “middleman”.

  • Take a closer look at your product images, specifically your lead images. This is one example of a lead image on your page:

However, if I click the very next photo it is larger and much more attractive. Always put your best foot forward, best image first. When people click on the product, they will see that you have different sizes and when they choose one of those, that smaller image above will pop up. You can arrange the photos on the product page largest to small and still have your sizes in the ascending order.

  • I think your home page would benefit from the addition of a little more color, even of it is subtle (gradient colors work well here sometimes). The only pop of color right now is the yellow “PayPal” button.

  • I would add at least one more colored text bar, like the one you have introducing the viewer to your collections, just to break up the monotonous look. You can add a fact, a quote, really anything to keep the viewer engaged.

  • Check your copy…You are predominantly capitalizing each word, however “products” is not capitalized. It also appears “Crimson Embrace” is a different font from the rest of the page, although it may appear that way because of the font size. Either way, I would keep it all uniform.

  • I am not sure what your primary or largest market is, however, do notice the USA is on there. If the US is a large part (or you anticipate on it being a large part), you would want to change “Most Saled Product” - no one in the US would ever say that. Something like “Best Seller”, “Hot Seller”, “Our Most Popular Print”, etc. would speak more directly to that market.

  • You definitely need to add reviews. If you don’t have enough to implement a review app, even just posting something from a few customers, family, or friends that have purchased your products would be better than nothing.

  • I would take the FAQ’s out of the footer to clean that up, you already have a FAQ section in your menu

  • I saw that you have a “Contact” in your footer, perhaps adding that to your menu as well would be beneficial

I hope you find some of this helpful. You have a great website and your products look fantastic, please understand these are just “picky” little details that will make a difference to the customers who first enter the store.
