How can I make Palo Alto theme changes local to one specific collection?

Hello,

I have a question about the Palo Alto theme.

When I add a rich text , or HTML section to one specific collection in the collection list, the addition is global across all collections in the list. How do I keep the rich text, or HTML section local to just the one specific collection?

attached is a screen shot from the code editor. Line 41 is the text that is being shown across all collections.

You can create metafields collection for it.

After successful creation, you can go to collections, add metafield and select it to show in Customize.

This helped point me in the right direction. However, holy frigging heck is this process convoluted for something that should be a given in the theme customization UI. Okay, Iā€™m done complaining about Shopify now. You were very helpful. Thank you.
