how can I make slideshows not repeat?

I’m working in the Prestige theme and would like my slideshow to autoplay 3 images but stay on the last one so the slideshow doesn’t loop. Is this possible?

I’ve tried some different codes, but either the slideshow completely stops autoplaying or it just continues the autoplay as before.

I am not sure as different themes have different way of doing things. There must be a way to stop it from looping.

Just an example if you were using a js swiper library like swiper js there is an attribute to stop it from looping by setting loop to false.

I am not sure but Shopify or your theme might be using a swiper library but you will have to check that or may be it’s entirety code.

Whatever it may be you will need to look up and add/edit code accordingly. It the theme is using a library then you wouldn’t have to add a lot of code but if they are using just code then it might also not need a lot of code but will need looking up.

I’ve tried altering and adding code in sections/slideshow.liquid, template/page(name).json, and assets/theme.js either it keeps autoplaying in a loop or completely stops the autoplay function. I’ve tried searching for solutions and using ChatGPT to check my codes but nothing seems to work. Is this a function Shopify doesn’t allow you to alter?

As i told you it could be that they are using a swiper library or something.

I believe things can be done but I can only tell after I have a look at it. It will need some looking up. For that I will also need collab access to your store.

Or just tell me the theme you are using if it’s one of the free themes by Shopify I might not even need access I can try out on my dev store.

hi @Louise_S Prestige isn’t a free theme so i wont be able to check or help you without a collaborator access to store.

I might be able to check if you share your store url but to add edit code i will need access as i cannot test features of paid themes within my development store.
