I’m trying to make specific text bold in the metafields so it stands out but it doesnt give me the option - I’m using 2.0 as a theme.
It shows as this:
Beetroot Wellington: 25 mins
Pre-made Ginger and Blackberry Sponge Pudding: 5 mins
And I want it to be
Beetroot Wellington: 25 mins
Pre-made Ginger and Blackberry Sponge Pudding: 5 mins

Adding formatting into a metafield itself would not be recommended. It’s better that the visual adjustment is done in another way with css. This is because you might want to change that later, and it will be a giant pain to have to adjust the metafield values itself.
I don’t have quite enough context on your metafield usage to give advice here. Is that multiple metafields you’re showing? Just one? What’s the metafield type? What’s the exact content you have now (aka, what did you add it as)? There’ll 100% be a great way to do it, i just have a few questions to make sure you don’t get crummy advice.

Well We have 4 multi-line text metafields on each product where my client wants specific text bold in all of them so they stand out. All different products with different criteria such as a metafield for “prep time” or another one for “equipment required.” It just looks a bit lost in the writing.
At the moment one of the products looks like this
PREP TIME (METAFIELD NAME/TAB)
Sweetcorn Fritters & Prawn Pakoras : 15 mins
Vegetable Green Thai Curry: 25 - 30 mins
SERVE TIME (METAFIELD NAME/TAB)
Sweetcorn Fritters & Prawn Pakoras : 15 mins
Vegetable Green Thai Curry: 20mins
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (METAFIELD NAME/TAB)
Here’s a List of the Required Equipment for the Meal.
Sweetcorn Fritters and Prawn Pakoras:
• Saucepan
• Sharp knife
• Wooden spoon
• Ramekin
Vegetable Green Thai Curry:
• Hand blender/food processor
• Mixing bowl
• Sharp knife
• Peeler
• Large frying pan/wok
PANTRY ITEMS (METAFIELD NAME/TAB)
These are staple kitchen cupboard ingredients that we do not include in the box.
• Vegetable oil
• Water
• Salt & pepper
Im really not sure what to do now. Is there a work around?

I have the same question as @danielstride . In my case, I created a version 2.0 multi-line text metafield called ‘fragrance_notes’, and want to style some of the text as bold on the product page. HTML seems to be ignored.
