How can I manage inventory for size and length variants separately?

Hey,

I’m in a bit of a pickle. I added 2 variants to my store, one is for size of the garment (3 options), the other is for the length of the garment (3 options).

The problem is that I have a fixed number of garments in sizes (e.g. 20 pieces of S, 20 pieces of M, 20 pieces of L size), and the length of the garment is optional and will be customized for free for each client.

I wanted to have 2 drop down menus on my product page:

  1. Select size
  2. Select lenght

The problem is with the inventory, because I now have to add inventory number for each combinations, e.g.:

  1. Size S length 85 cm
  2. Size S length 75 cm
  3. Size S length 65 cm
  4. Size M length 85 cm
  5. Size M length 75 cm
  6. Size M length 65 cm
  7. Size L length 85 cm
  8. Size L length 75 cm
  9. Size L length 65 cm

Can’t I somehow only add inventory for the sizes (S, M, L) but not the lengths since those will be determined by the customer?
