We are in the process of switching from Square to Shopify. We sell trading card games, and on square we had each set for a tcg set up as the following example.
so the base unit is what we keep in stock, which is the booster pack, and then we have the booster box, which if we sell a booster box, it removes 30 of the booster packs from inventory, then the case is another unit, that if we sell one removes 180 booster packs from inventory.
Similarly, if we have less than 30 booster packs in inventory, it will say we have 0 booster boxes, and cases available.
Is there a way to do something similar in Shopify?
Hi @AFKGames ,
In short you have product variants which shares the same inventory.
Now you want to track the inventory correctly and update others inventory accordingly?
if I understood it correct please refer to the below video who has the same issue.

let me know if fine to you?
Hi @AFKGames ,
It looks like the Easify Inventory Sync app could be just what you need to solve your inventory issue! With this app, you can easily create groups to keep your inventory in sync between:
- Booster Pack (which serves as the base unit for tracking total inventory) and Booster Box
- Booster Pack and Booster Case
This means that the number of available Booster Packs will automatically determine how many Booster Boxes or Cases you can sell.
More importantly, whenever a Booster Box or Case is purchased, the corresponding number of Booster Packs will be deducted from your inventory (30 or 100, respectively) .
If you’re interested in giving the app a try, just let me know or reach out to the Easify team for a setup guide.
