How can I merge customer data from one online store to another?

Hi,

I’m looking to Merge our Shop A into our Shop B. Same product line - just Shop B is better experience. I’m going to redirect Shop A to Shop B - but I want all customers from Shop A to have their order history in Shop B. How can that be done?

You can export your customers to csv then import that into the new shop to transfer that data.

Read this first: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/customers/import-export-customers

There’s at least 1 caveat - customers will need to be invited to create an account again because passwords don’t get transferred (this is irrelevant if you don’t use account logins for them).

I would test it on 1 customer first to make sure it lines up with what you’re looking for.

You can use Exportier - Data Export for this. You will be able to export all the needed fields from Shop A Customers and Orders in CSV and import to Shop B the relevant fields.
