Have a product (dresses) all the same exact that comes in 22 color choice, I currently have set up as separate products but I would like to merge into a single product with variants.
Any idea on how to do this besides manually??

As mentioned, you can utilize the product CSV file to export products and make bulk adjustments in one place. To export a CSV file, you can check out our Open or Edit A CSV File documentation as it covers this in detail. It’s also recommended to download a Sample CSV File to use as a reference when making edits. It outlines all the required columns and values needed to successfully import back into the shop.
