Issue: So I would like to have the same two category columns when clicking on the menu category called “Available originals” and remove the drop down menu.
I want to remove “No products in this collection” and ofc I also want the two links abow to be removed but that I know how to do myself and instead add that two category columns.
Anyone out there who can help me??? I would be the must happy girl in the world!
The best way to accomplish this look on the “Available Originals” link in your main menu is to link a Page rather than a Collection. The reason being that you can customize the Page template in the Atlantic theme to include sections like featured collections:
From your admin page, click on Online Store > Pages > and create a page called “Available Originals”. If you don’t want any further information beneath the page title (as seen on your homepage), leave the content blank.
Then head to Navigation (beneath Online Store on the left hand menu), and change your main menu link “Available Originals” to link to the new page you created rather than the collection.
Afterwards, head to Themes > Customize. From the theme editor, click on the main menu link “Available Originals” and it will bring you to the page template editor.
From here, you can add a section called “Collection List” and add the Paper and Canvas collections. A third collection will pop up but if you click on it, you can remove the block at the bottom.
Then click on “Collection List” section you created and delete the header and uncheck the “show border” option. At this point you should be good to go.
I’d like to note that it’s possible that there’s a blank section width between the collection list and the page title that’s wider than you would like. This is something that you could have the theme developers look into reducing. The developers can be reached directly from here.
