I have an online store that sells pet portraits. I’m having an issue when I email my customers there revisions as my emails seem to go to junk so it’s taking a few days before I get a reply which is holding up my fulfilment times..
I was wondering is there a way I could setup a text message to let my customers know the email has been sent? Is there a way to do this or something similar?
There is no solid answer to ensure your emails are not marked as spam by the receiving email host. There are some steps you can take to ensure your emails arrive as intended though:
This website was an awesome resource for me in testing out my email trust level with third-party email hosts and it would be worth trying yourself as well.
You will also want to make sure your sender email is authenticated. You can check the status of that by following this link or by creating an email campaign and using the edit link next to the sender email.
If you aren’t sure of the results from your mail test or if your email is authenticated in your admin, please let us know here and we will do our best to help!
Otherwise, there are a few ways you can set up a text message notification when you send revisions to your customers. One option is to use a third-party SMS marketing platform, like Twilio or SMSBump, to send automated text messages to your customers.
By setting up a text message notification system, you can improve your communication with customers and speed up fulfillment times for your pet portrait business. Let me know how you get on!
We could help you with sending automated order and shipping notifications via SMS or WhatsApp,
and we also have a custom gateway connection option, so if you want to connect your own API you could do that too.
Just try Airnote once and let us know if it helps you.
You can set up a workflow using tools like Klaviyo or Twilio to trigger an SMS notification whenever an email is sent. This can be automated based on the action in your email platform. For example, when you send a revision email, a corresponding SMS can notify the customer that the email is in their inbox. Pairing this with push notifications via UnblockedBrands for real-time updates could further reduce fulfillment delays.
