I have installed an app to offer customers a free gift at checkout. The app is working fine but my question is, I want to offer a large discount on a second item as one of the free gifts. How would I go about implementing that. I have been onto the app developer with no reply so far. Can anyone advice how I might implement this? The app I am using is Easy Gift Auto Add to Cart.

If you haven’t found a solution yet, hope this might help.
To offer a discounted (or free) second item at checkout, you’ll need a solution that supports checkout upsells like BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell.
If you’re on Shopify Plus, you can use the Checkout Upsell feature in the BOGOS App. It allows you to show up to upsell items as a free or discounted gift.
