I want to offer my customers a choice of up to 4 different colors of paint to go with their purchase and I have not figured out how to do that. It would be one wooden box that they would be purchasing and I am providing them with 4 different paints out of 8 paint options. Does anyone have any idea how I would manage that?

If you aren’t comfortable with coding, the easiest way to add this functionality is by installing a third-party product options app to your store. There are a few apps on our Shopify App Store here that you can take a look at, to see if it will suit your needs. I did a bit of search on my end and was able to find this one here that allows your customers to select multiple options on your product. So feel free to take a closer look at that app to start off with.
Just a note that these apps are made by third-party developers outside of Shopify. So if you need more information about each respective app’s functionality, I recommend getting in touch with the app developers as they’d be best equipped to answer app specific questions.
